January 1, Radical Left Judge Sets Suspect Free After Minnesota Homecoming Shooting

Wyatt’s Take
- A Minnesota homecoming event turned into chaos when gunfire sent families running, yet the accused shooter walked out on a low bond just two days later.
- Critics are pointing to a pattern of soft-on-crime decisions that put working families at risk while career politicians stay silent.
- President Trump and law-and-order voices have long warned that these policies would lead to more danger on American streets, and the latest incident shows they were right.
The shooting broke out in the parking lot of Eden Prairie High School during its homecoming football game. Two teenagers were hit, and hundreds of fans were rushed out of the stands as police swarmed the scene.
Authorities say the violence started when two cars pulled into the lot and a fight involving about ten people erupted. The driver of one vehicle allegedly opened fire, then sped away.
“A Radical Left judge immediately granted him a no-condition bail,” President Trump’s Rapid Response 47 account posted on X.
Eighteen-year-old Adam Abdihakeem Adam was arrested two days later. Jail records show he posted a $100,000 bond without conditions and walked free at 7:04 p.m. on October 10.
He faces two felony counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of second-degree riot while armed with a dangerous weapon. His next court date is set for Monday.
“I’m incredibly proud of our officers and investigators who have worked nonstop alongside our law enforcement partners to identify those responsible and hold them accountable,” Eden Prairie Police Chief Matt Sackett said.
Police tracked the suspect’s phone records and recovered clothing matching the shooter seen on surveillance video. Investigators say the incident is tied to rival Somali gang activity in the Twin Cities area.
“Our law enforcement here are calling it out as the product of Somali gang violence, and we’ve got to identify it, and we have to find a way to deal with it,” Republican Senate candidate Michele Tafoya told Fox News Digital.
The case has sparked renewed calls for tougher bail rules and stronger action against gang violence that has spilled into suburban communities across Minnesota.
Wyatt Matters
Middle America families want safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and judges who put public safety first. When bail policies let shooters back on the streets overnight, it sends a clear message that politicians value ideology over the lives of regular folks trying to raise kids and keep their communities whole.
