January 1, Biden-Harris Operative Claims House Seat After Squad Favorite Gets Crushed

Wyatt’s Take

  • A career political insider with deep family ties to the Democratic machine just won a Massachusetts primary with backing from Biden and Harris — proving the establishment still controls the party despite Squad theatrics.
  • He’s promising to abolish ICE and push single-payer healthcare while calling himself a champion of ‘ordinary people’ — the same tired leftist playbook we’ve seen for decades.
  • This race exposes the fraud: Democrats talk about generational change and fresh faces, but they keep recycling the same dynastic insiders whose families have been feeding at the government trough for generations.

A former Biden White House aide just cruised to victory in a crowded Massachusetts Democratic primary, setting himself up for an easy November win in one of the bluest districts in America.

Dan Koh beat out five other candidates to replace Rep. Seth Moulton, who abandoned his House seat for a failed Senate run against 80-year-old incumbent Ed Markey that crashed and burned Tuesday night.

Koh had the full backing of both former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris — no surprise given his cushy White House gig. He first joined the administration as chief of staff to then-Labor Secretary Marty Walsh and later became deputy assistant to the president and deputy director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.

But this isn’t Koh’s first rodeo. He narrowly lost a Democratic primary in Massachusetts’ nearby 3rd Congressional District to Rep. Lori Trahan back in 2018. Now he’s back for round two.

Koh is running on the standard progressive wish list: abolishing “Trump’s ICE” — meaning Immigration and Customs Enforcement — and imposing government-run universal healthcare on the entire country.

He’s now positioned to waltz into the 6th Congressional District seat, which covers northeastern Massachusetts and is rated safer for Democrats than a Kennedy at an open bar.

Moulton, a Marine Corps veteran, has held the district since 2015. His Senate campaign against Markey turned into a nasty primary brawl, with the 47-year-old Moulton arguing for generational change and claiming the 80-year-old Markey had squandered decades in office without improving life for Massachusetts families.

Voters apparently disagreed — Markey held on Tuesday.

Markey pulled in endorsements from the far left’s celebrity roster, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders. Meanwhile, Koh represents the establishment wing — and his political dynasty runs deep.

His father, Howard Koh, served as an assistant secretary in the Department of Health and Human Services under Barack Obama. His uncle also held positions in both the Obama and Clinton administrations.

Government work is the family business.

Koh now faces Republican military veteran Micah Jones in November, who is running unopposed in his primary. In a district this blue, Jones faces long odds — but stranger things have happened when voters get fed up with entrenched machine politics.

Why It Matters

This is exactly what’s wrong with the Democratic Party — and why Middle America has tuned them out. They talk endlessly about fighting for working families while installing career insiders whose entire lives have been spent climbing the government ladder. Dan Koh isn’t some outsider bringing fresh ideas to Washington. He’s a third-generation political operative whose family has made millions off taxpayer-funded positions. And now he wants to abolish the agency protecting Americans from criminal illegal aliens while pushing a socialist healthcare takeover that would bankrupt the country. Massachusetts voters might be okay with that. The rest of America isn’t buying it anymore.

Another piece of shit in a blue state. Backed by the two worst presidents to ever run this country. It’s funny how these people who want government run healthcare will never be subjected to having to use it. They all have their private doctors and will never have to use the healthcare they promote. Massachusetts is another shit state full of dirty politicians who are only out for themselves. They have care about their constituents. Isn’t it crazy that the states this country was founded in, the 13 colonies, are the most corrupted and dirty in the nation! The founding fathers are rolling over in their graves seeing these pieces of shit trying to destroy the country they built.

Hi LC. I live in Mass. and I completely agree with you about it being completely corrupt. The politicians in this state line their pockets with outrageous salaries and they get daily stipends to show up to work. There are not many conservative voices to represent the people. Of course the people statewide continue to send the likes of Elizabeth Warren to Washington. The Mass. Representatives are some of the most extreme leftists in Washington. I am not sure that you are correct though that Mass. is the most corrupt with California, Minnesota and New York in the running but it is definitely close.
