January 1, MLB Team’s SHOCKING New ‘Family Day’ Plan Has Fans in Total Meltdown

Wyatt’s Take

  • A major league baseball team announced it will feature a drag performer at a promotional event targeting families and children during Pride Month celebrations
  • The controversial decision has sparked immediate backlash from fans who say the organization has abandoned its traditional family-friendly values
  • This is the latest example of corporate America pushing radical gender ideology into spaces that were once safe havens for wholesome family entertainment

The Baltimore Orioles are under fire after announcing plans to feature a drag queen performer at Camden Yards as part of their Pride Month festivities. The performer will spray water on fans in what the team is billing as family-friendly entertainment.

The announcement has sent shockwaves through the team’s fanbase, with thousands of longtime season ticket holders questioning whether America’s pastime has been hijacked by woke activists more interested in pushing political agendas than celebrating the sport.

This isn’t just about one baseball team. It’s about a pattern we’re seeing across professional sports, where organizations that once brought families together are now driving wedges between parents and the values they want to pass down to their kids.

Baseball stadiums used to be places where dads could take their sons and daughters to enjoy hot dogs, catch foul balls, and cheer for the home team. Now families have to wonder what kind of adult entertainment will be forced on their children between innings.

The Orioles’ decision comes as more and more Americans are pushing back against the injection of radical gender ideology into every corner of public life. From schools to libraries to now baseball stadiums, concerned parents are asking when enough will be enough.

Critics point out the double standard at play. Conservative speakers and traditional values are regularly banned from public spaces for being “divisive,” yet drag performances—which many parents consider sexually suggestive adult entertainment—are now being repackaged as family fun.

The backlash on social media has been swift and intense. Fans are calling for boycotts, canceling season tickets, and demanding the team reverse course. Many are asking why a baseball organization feels the need to take sides in contentious cultural debates instead of focusing on the game.

This controversy highlights a larger question facing American institutions: should businesses that rely on broad public support be using their platforms to promote controversial social and political causes? Or should they stick to what they do best and leave the activism to activists?

For working families in Baltimore and beyond, the answer seems clear. They want to take their kids to a ball game without worrying about what messages are being pushed from the loudspeakers and the jumbotron.

The Orioles have not responded to the growing criticism or indicated whether they will reconsider their plans. As of now, the event is scheduled to proceed as planned.

Why It Matters

This is about more than baseball. When families can’t even take their kids to a ball game without running into political propaganda, we’ve lost something fundamental. American institutions built on bringing communities together are now tearing them apart by forcing divisive agendas where they don’t belong. Parents have every right to expect that a Sunday afternoon at the ballpark will be about America’s pastime, not adult entertainment masquerading as inclusion.

Why does our county or even world feel like we need to celebrate a persons sexual preference. They should not be cursed but not praised either. Should I start and demand more rights because sexually I like to be on oh say on top?
I know that sounds crazy and it would be. People be what you want just don’t push your choice on the rest of us and leave the kids alone.

Why do they condone mental disease. Any man who dresses as a woman and dances for children has serious pedophile tendencies. The alphabet people need to keep to themselves it might not end well

Amen. Thank you. So reassuring to read normal, common sense replies. Sex preferences need not be displayed. Nothing to be proud of! Let’s play ball, nothing else!

IT is trivially easy to “vote with your wallet”. Example, season ticket holders could stop buying season tickets. Casual fans could stop going to games and buying merch and consessions. But “Bread And Circuses” and all that…

it’s Baltimore, they will probably sell more tickets.

When the fans stop showing up to games, that will be the only way that Major league baseball will get the message. Lots of revenue will be lost, and their bottom line will fail. I say, let them do it. They will lose fans and money. They’re all a bunch of idiots. Anyway letting these people come into their stadiums and push their ideology on normal people. Not too long ago transgender was considered a mental illness, but now everyone thinks we should accept it. What I can’t get is how professionals like psychologist and psychiatrist have started to condone this behavior. I think the professionals are the ones who need to be psychologically profiled. I don’t see how they can maintain their licenses. They’re just as crazy as the ones who are dressing up as women.

Fuck the MLB along with the rainbow and alphabet people.

All fans have to do is not show up for one game and they could put a stop to this shit. But if fans keep showing up there’s no deterant.

This madness would stop immediately if fans would simply NOT GO TO THE GAME! If MLB loses money, they’ll change their tune. If fans continue to put up with this and support it with their presence, nothing will change.
