Wyatt’s Take

  • Pam Bondi battled thyroid cancer quietly after leaving DOJ — the kind of grit and grace America’s leaders should have
  • While fighting cancer, Trump tapped her for a crucial AI advisory role showing he values loyalty and competence
  • The mainstream media buried this story because they can’t stand highlighting a conservative woman’s courage and resilience

Pam Bondi, who served as President Donald Trump’s Attorney General until early April, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer shortly after leaving the Department of Justice. The 60-year-old has undergone treatment and is now recovering, sources confirm.

Katie Miller, a former White House staffer and podcast host married to White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller, shared the news on social media Tuesday evening.

“Pam has been quietly kicking cancer’s ass the last few weeks,” Miller wrote.

She praised Bondi as having “a heart of gold.”

The health disclosure came as President Trump appointed Bondi to an advisory committee focused on artificial intelligence policy. She’s expected to serve on the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, co-chaired by White House AI and crypto czar David Sacks and White House science adviser Michael Kratsios.

Bondi will help coordinate between the federal government and technology executives serving on the panel. It’s exactly the kind of strategic role that demands sharp thinking and steady leadership — qualities she’s proven time and again.

The cancer diagnosis and new appointment come weeks after Trump moved Bondi out of the Attorney General position. In a Truth Social post, he made clear this wasn’t about performance.

“Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900,” Trump wrote.

“We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future.”

Trump called Bondi “a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend.”

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has served as acting attorney general since Bondi’s departure. In her own statement confirming the transition, Bondi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve.

“Over the next month I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about, and where I will continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration,” Bondi wrote.

“Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history.”

Bondi kept her cancer diagnosis private while continuing to work through the transition. That’s the kind of quiet strength that built this country — no drama, no victim card, just getting the job done.

Wyatt Matters

When life throws a curveball, real Americans don’t make excuses — they dig in and fight. Pam Bondi showed exactly that kind of character by battling cancer while serving her country and planning her next mission. That’s the America we believe in: resilient, hardworking, and never backing down from a challenge. The president recognizes loyalty and competence when he sees it, and Bondi’s new role proves merit still matters in this administration.

I have always thought she was a very good person and truly doing a great job. The attacks against her were so disappointing, but then I realized that those who are doing a great job are the ones who face the hardest attacks. It’s a sad society we are currently in, where our nation is divided so much that it doesn’t value good people anymore.

Who is that mystery woman? Sure doesn’t look like Pam Bondi or Katie Miller either. Is that an AI image?

Wyatt – STOP USING BS PICTURES!!! The opening picture IS NOT Pam Bondi!! In an earlier article, the white guy with glasses sitting at a desk signing a paper is NOT the Black Governor of Maryland!! Your use of AI generated photos is getting out of hand!! STOP being lazy and use a real photo of the persons mentioned in the articles!!
