Wyatt’s Take

  • Hostage families call for Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
  • They say his actions brought hope and delivered real results.
  • They believe his work for peace deserves global recognition.

Families of those still held hostage, along with relatives of those released, have asked the Norwegian Nobel Committee to honor President Trump for his peace efforts. Their letter says his determination made the impossible possible and credits him for helping many hostages return home.

“From the moment of his inauguration, he brought us light through our darkest times,” families said.

They described the pain they have endured, living with empty chairs at their tables and the hope that loved ones would return. The families say Trump’s commitment resulted in 39 people being freed and closure for others.

The group praised Trump for freeing Americans and people from other countries held captive around the world. They expressed new hope that peace might finally return to the Middle East.

“We are confident that he will not rest until the last hostage is brought home, the war has ended, and peace and prosperity are restored to the people of the Middle East,” the letter stated.

The appeal noted Trump’s success in helping resolve armed conflicts worldwide. Where others saw dead ends, they said, Trump found opportunities for peace and backed it up with real action.

The families quoted Alfred Nobel’s vision for the prize, saying Trump delivered what others only talked about. “He has not merely spoken of peace — he has delivered it,” they wrote.

The committee will announce its decision Friday. The Forum closed its plea by saying, “We strongly urge you to award President Trump the Nobel Peace Prize because he has vowed he will not rest and will not stop until every last hostage is back home.”

They said this recognition would show the world that bold leadership and action for peace really matter.
