Former President Donald Trump said he believes Hamas may now be open to real peace after the group reportedly agreed to a limited deal.

He remarked, “I think they might finally want to make peace for good.”

The comments come as talk of a possible truce rises, but trust is still thin. There’s a long history of broken promises in this part of the world, so people remain cautious.

The outlook for peace depends on real actions, not just talk, from all sides in the Middle East.

Middle America wants to see an end to endless wars and honest efforts for peace. Everyday folks know promises don’t mean much without proof.

    I am familiar with some Quranic verses regarding the Islamic view/attitude towards Jews (I am a Messianic Jew who believes in Yeshua/Jesus) and of a more general “Jihad” principle/call…for Quran-adherent Muslims, they sincerely believe that they are pleasing God (“Allah”)…for such Muslims, along with nominal Muslims/non-Muslims who are ideologically indoctrinated/entrenched in anti-Jewish/Jihad views (etc.), expecting diplomacy, “peace deals” and reasoning to dissuade them is essentially an impossibility…any “peace” would be temporary and merely a time to plan the next attack (etc.)…
