January 1, California’s Governor Faces Off Against President Trump

Hey folks, it’s Wyatt here, and we’ve got a situation brewing out in California. Governor Gavin Newsom is kicking up a fuss against President Trump’s administration. Why? Because Trump sent in the National Guard to deal with some pretty wild riots in Los Angeles County.

Homan says, sure, you can protest. It’s your right. But hurting officers or wrecking property? That’s a crime, plain and simple. He said nobody’s above the law, not even a governor!

Newsom’s not backing down though. He’s filing a lawsuit against Trump, calling the National Guard deployment “unconstitutional.” He claims Trump didn’t ask him about sending in those troops. Newsom’s shouting about protocol, but when things get as serious as these riots, who has time for red tape?

President Trump isn’t holding back, either. He’s called out Newsom and Bass for letting things get out of hand. They’re not protesters, he says, they’re troublemakers. He’s ordered the big guns at Homeland Security and Defense to deal with this so-called “Migrant Invasion.”

Now, Hegseth says Marines are ready to jump in if things don’t calm down soon. Newsom calls it “deranged,” but maybe it’s just about keeping people safe.
