January 1, Meta Employees Rally Against Men’s Bathroom Tampon Removal
Meta, the company that owns Facebook, did something big. They took tampons out of the men’s bathrooms, and not everyone is happy about it. Some people at Meta are so upset that they’re bringing their own tampons to the men’s bathroom.
This change happened after the boss, Mark Zuckerberg, decided to make Meta’s rules more sensible. It’s a bit like what President Trump did when he was in charge. Meta stopped some programs that focused too much on diversity and fairness, which didn’t make sense to everyone. They also got rid of fact-checkers that leaned too far left. And importantly, they removed tampons from the men’s bathrooms, because tampons are for women.
Meta had put tampons in the men’s bathrooms for workers who don’t feel like traditional men but need them because they’re biologically women. When they removed them, some employees got upset. Some even quit, and others are thinking about leaving.
But some folks didn’t quit. They decided to protest quietly by bringing their own tampons and supplies to the men’s bathrooms. They also started a petition to try to get the tampons back.
The New York Times talked about these protests as part of how workers are upset with bosses shifting to more common-sense policies.
Back when President Trump first took office, he made it clear that his administration would move away from gender confusion. He emphasized that there are only two genders, male and female, and got a lot of applause for it.
President Trump even signed an order to protect women’s rights and make sure that government policies recognize the biological differences between men and women. This order was about using clear and true language about gender, which is something that keeps everything honest and safe for everyone.
Overall, changes like what Meta did are about bringing back straightforward ideas that a lot of people believe in, and it’s making a big splash in places like Silicon Valley.
Wyatt Matters!
People have different needs, and it’s important to make sure everyone feels included at work. Removing tampons from the men’s bathrooms at Meta was a big change that upset many people. Some employees at Meta, especially those who don’t fit traditional gender roles but still need these products, feel left out and hurt by this decision. Despite the change, some workers have shown their determination by bringing their own supplies and starting a petition to bring tampons back. This shows how important it is for companies to consider everyone’s needs to make a welcoming environment.
The decision to remove tampons was part of Meta’s plan to simplify policies. Mark Zuckerberg wanted to make the company’s rules more sensible, similar to some actions taken by President Trump. However, different people have different ideas about what makes sense. While some believe changes like these help clarify things, others feel they ignore important realities. Organizations need to balance simple policies with the understanding that people and their needs can be complex and varied.
Companies like Meta need to think carefully about how their rules affect everyone. Ensuring that all employees feel respected and included should be a top priority. It’s essential for businesses to find common ground where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their gender or identity. By thinking thoughtfully about their policies, companies can create a more supportive workplace for all.

Why in hell do men require “Tampons” in bathrooms? Which orifice is bleeding? What a waste of time and money installing these damn things in men’s bathrooms!

That decision was a typical Biden administration decision, IMO. By typical, I mean STUPID!

So. When is it the employers’ responsibility to provide personal hygiene products?
I can tolerate, even find a bit of sympathy for dissenting positions. But.
As with transgender surgeries, abortions,… why is it that some feel all taxpayers should pay for their Choices?
As a society, we seem to have forgotten where personal v public responsibilities are owed. Government annd private employers should not be making Personal decisions, right? Concurrently, those entities should also NOT be required to pay for personal decisions. It’s part of maturity and behaving as adults.

What are these men using these tampons for, anyway? I’ve yet to meet a man that needed one. Are they taking them home to their wives, or do they know another use for them, other than the monthly that women go through?? Do sissy men have periods? If so, buy your own, like real women have been doing for since they needed them.

If they need tampons they shouldn’t be using the men’s bathroom! They are not men!
