At a rally in Phoenix, Kamala Harris made some claims about former President Trump. She said he planned to ignore women’s opinions on abortion and just do what he wants, which sounds pretty scary. But hold on a minute—was that really what Trump meant?

Trump was actually talking about protecting our country and keeping women safe. He criticized Harris’ border policies for letting in dangerous criminals. Trump said he’d protect women from these threats, “whether they like it or not.”

Now, CNN’s Jake Tapper had to step in and clarify what was said. Tapper explained that Trump’s words were about safety, not controlling women. The truth is important, and Tapper urged everyone to get it right, especially before voting time.

Even though Kamala Harris kept saying Trump was trying to control women’s bodies, that’s not what he meant. And it’s crucial to be careful about twisting words, especially with big issues like this.

In the end, what we need is clear and honest talk about what our leaders really say. That helps us make smart choices, especially during election time.

But that might not be exactly what Trump meant to say.

Trump was really talking about keeping the country safe. He mentioned that he would protect women from dangerous criminals coming across the border. It sounded like he wanted to make sure everyone was safe whether they agreed with him or not. It’s important to focus on the actual words and context to understand what leaders mean.

It’s helpful when people like CNN’s Jake Tapper clear up any confusion. He explained that Trump’s comments were about safety concerns, not about controlling women. As people who care about important issues, we have to stay informed and understand the truth. That way, we can make good decisions, especially when it’s time to vote. Thanks. This is what all of the networks should do. It is unfortunate that most of the networks merely repeat the lies that were made about what was said. In some cases they repeat what was said as a lie. The Liz Cheney warmongery statement was not about shooting her, it was about changing her/fathers position on starting a Conflict that takes the lives of our young people.
