January 1, Left-Wing “Philanthropist” Faces IRS Probe Amid Scandalous Allegations

The murky world of left-wing dark money is being thrust into the spotlight, as Eric Kessler, the founder of Arabella Advisors, is embroiled in allegations that he used tax-exempt organizations for personal enrichment.

Arabella Advisors, known for its vast dark money networks, is under intense scrutiny as the Americans for Public Trust (APT) have stepped in with an IRS complaint, sparking conversations around the integrity of political funding.

APT has raised some highly serious questions, stating, “The IRS must investigate whether Kessler obtained personal gain from payments to Arabella totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.”

The complaint specifically raises concerns over whether these substantial payments exceeded the reasonable market value for the services provided by Arabella.

Four funds affiliated with Kessler, namely New Venture Fund, Sixteen Thirty Fund, Windward Fund, and Hopewell Fund, are in the spotlight for possibly diverting vast sums for Kessler’s personal benefit.

The gravity of the situation was captured by Caitlin Sutherland, APT’s executive director, who asserted, “Eric Kessler created one of the most complex and sophisticated dark money networks influencing U.S. politics and policy today.”

She emphasized that Kessler “misled the IRS and may have illegally personally benefited by rerouting nonprofit cash back into his own pocket through Arabella Advisors.”

Further cementing the gravity of the accusations, the complaint reveals that since its founding in 2005, Arabella has received an astronomical sum of more than $228,000,000 from the four funds in question since 2006.

But that’s not all. The New Venture Fund and Hopewell Fund have reportedly channeled tens of millions to Voter Registration Project, an organization with a clear goal to help Democrats seize victories, between 2016 to 2021.

Furthermore, there are reports suggesting that Arabella’s funds played a significant role in bankrolling online research that predominantly targeted conservatives with accusations of “misinformation.”

In the face of such alarming allegations, Arabella’s spokesperson, Steve Sampson, predictably responded with the standard defensive posture, stating, “This is a meritless complaint from an organization that is obviously pursuing an agenda.”

He went on to describe Arabella Advisors as a business “dedicated to making philanthropic work more efficient, effective, and equitable.”

Bottom Line

With a story of this magnitude, eyes across the nation are fixated on what the IRS will uncover.

It serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing concerns regarding dark money in U.S. politics and the potential for shadowy figures to manipulate the system for their gain.

Do you really think the IRS will do anything with this? It won’t go anywhere since it benefits a certain party/agenda.
