January 1, Late Night Host is Getting Canceled After Staffers Speak Out

Published

on

The late-night television world is under turmoil as fresh allegations surface against none other than Jimmy Fallon, the face of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.

It appears the glossy, humorous, and seemingly fun façade may have been hiding some dark and disturbing secrets all along.

Fallon, at 48 years old, is facing intense scrutiny after several of his employees spoke out, painting a chilling picture of a “nightmare” workplace.

The gravity of the matter is made clear by one heart-wrenching confession from a former employee: “Mentally, I was in the lowest place of my life. I didn’t want to live anymore. I thought about taking my own life all the time.”

What’s perhaps more shocking are the specific incidents mentioned. One unnamed employee recalls a 2017 event, saying, “He couldn’t remember he had just crossed it out himself,” and went on to admit, “I was like, ‘Oh, my God, he [seems] drunk. He doesn’t know what he’s doing.”

These statements come as a poignant reminder of past reports about Fallon’s alleged out-of-control partying habits. In 2015, a bartender who served him noted, “He’s a mess.”

Staffers, it seems, have felt trapped in a world where saying “No” to Fallon was unheard of. They describe an environment where Fallon’s unpredictable mood swings became the weather vane for everyone’s day.

One former employee described the grim atmosphere, saying, “If Jimmy is in a bad mood, everyone’s day is f–ked. It was very much like, focus on whatever it is that you have to do because Jimmy’s in a bad mood, and if he sees that, he might fly off.”

The allegations not only speak of Fallon’s erratic and intimidating behavior but also suggest a persistent problem with alcohol during work hours.

Employees claim that they frequently sensed him being under the influence, even discerning alcohol on his breath during the workday, particularly between 2017 and 2020.

The alleged impact on the staff’s mental health is disheartening, with many describing an environment so toxic they had to resort to medication, therapy, or even suffered suicidal thoughts.

As one employee stated, “Writing for late night is a lot of people’s dream jobs, and they’re coming into this and it becomes a nightmare very quickly.”

Despite Fallon’s earlier claims, saying “I could never do a day-to-day job if I was drinking every night. That’s just kicking you when you’re down,” these latest allegations seem to paint a very different picture.

Notes on employees’ work such as “Are you OK? Seriously, do you need help?” and “Ugh, lame. What is going on with you?” further spotlight the severity of the alleged toxic environment.

As these revelations come to light, the question on everyone’s minds is clear: What’s next for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”? And will the late-night world finally address the deep-seated issues that seem to be plaguing its glitzy studios?

At this juncture, representatives from “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” have remained silent. The world awaits their response.

Well, fine, how are things now? Is the problem fixed? If the problem is fixed, then there is nothing to talk about. Unless he owes some people apologies.

You don’t have to work there. These snowflakes need to get over themselves. IF and I say IF these stories are true then It is his show to make it or break it. He pays them to do a job and I have heard paid.very well. If he was an ass then they should tell him to his face and not some reporter.

I have never thought Jimmy was worth my time to watch after trying to watch a couple of nights. To me he came across as a smart ass, that thought he was better than everyone else.

All 3 networks have losers from Little Jimmy Fallon, Little Jimmy Kimmel, and Little Stevy Colbert, I refer to them as the 3 Stooges, the 3 have almost 1 million viewers per night while Gutfield had almost as many as all 3 combined because they offend the right, even David Letterman had over 5 to 10 million on his show, however, Leno had over 15 million, the networks are more concerned about tuning conservatives out and let the shows die from delusional scripting of what they think is funny, it is nothing of the sort!

The late night shows have not been worth watching for years! They have gone off the track and become political hacks spewing hate for the other side and very little real comedy

You have to go along with people at work for a person. Is that person is an ass then he doesn’t belong in that job. If you are our boss, you treat your employees like you would be treated if you were in their place not be Mr. God. perhaps they enjoy the work they do they just don’t wanna be bullied every day

You are so wrong and that’s what’s wrong with this world. You should not be in a position of authority if you’re not a people person and can understand other peoples thoughts and problems. Unless you’ve been in their shoes and know what it feels like to be bullied, you have no business being a boss of any kind. There’s a young man that started at the bottom and worked his way up to be a general manager and always treated his people with respect for what they do and if they don’t do what they’re supposed to. He has a discussion with them and talk with them and figure out what’s wrong and what needs to be done he doesn’t bully or yell , or call them babies. God knows you got a lot more with honey than you do with vinegar

Martha what the hell the matter with you, when did he(Jimmy Fallon) become an F**ken Psychologist where he comes to work to have to face a much of pricks cry baby’s because their feeling are hurt if they don’t want to put up with the job, then they have the option to either quit or kill him, Now if you quit your out of a job, but if you kill at least you’ll have place to stay after that, so in conclusion shut the hell up Martha.

Absolutely true, well spoken. When these staffers first got hired, they of course did not know his personality. But after working with him for some time, one can make up their own minds of whether they can handle the situation or need to move on. Fallon is not going to change for you. I would call this turning point a blessing in disguise. Time to find another job, or better yet, go back to school so that you can possibly get a better job. There are always be people like Fallon who look down on the lesser people. Everyone has the potential to elevate their education, and life so the differences are not there.

I gave up on Fallon a long time ago. There was always a problem with the way that he presents himself. He seems like a person that has the I’m in charge and you better get used to it attitude.

I can and could not stand Fallon’s slow lip sync, his comedy is lame at best not funny at all. This guy could not hold Leno’s jock strap. If Leno was still on he would be the late night king, still

This happens when comedians run out of material and are no longer creative or funny! Johnny Carson was “The Best”!

I totally agree, he should stay away from politics. He’s not perfect himself and I personally don’t think he’s a bit funny. Johnny Carson will always be the king of late night. Steve Allen was also a great late host. They had good clean humor.

I guess I wil date myself with this response to your post, in 1959 America had 197 million people, and a brilliant man Steve Allan started the Tonight Show and had 40 million viewers nightly, he left and was replaced by Jack Par, who was a royal bore! In 1962 NBC replaced him with Johnny Carson who had an average of 20 million viewers with as many as 300 million people by 1985, so Steve was the funniest of the funny and he was a songwriter with 1,000 song copyrights, he was a musician and producer, so I say he was the King of the night shows Johnny was the godfather and then Leno was the prince as he had 15 million plus while the 3 stooges all have near 1 million nightly, that is why I call them the 3 stooges, even Gutfield on Fox gets as many as these 3 get combined, this is my personal take, Allan was married to Jane Meadows a beautiful actress in her day , her sister Audrey Meadows played on the Honeymooners, that is your history lesson today, from the old giser, ME!

I never liked him or Cober. I gave up on late night shows. There isn’t any talent today like Dave Lettermen and Johnny Carson. There’s a severe lack of good comedians who have the talent to interview guests and still engage the guests and audience with laughter. Fallon and Cober shows are political shows with little comedy. The news is always the worse events of the day and politics, you talk with people in the grocery store and that ends up political. You turn on TV be be entertained. I don’t want to hear everything that’s going on in our world. When I come home from work, I want feel good stories and Be able to laugh. That’s just one of the things that is wrong with our country. People listen to negative opinions and stories all day long and it’s stressing and depressing for more and more people. Tune all that out and read a good book. Most T.V. shows suck.

Late night shows just aren’t what they were. There’s a severe lack of comedians

Canceled?? Where does it state inside the article the Fallon’s getting canceled? These misleading headlines really get under my skin. Are they having issues? I have no doubt. But canceling Fallon because of that? Come on, people… stop with the over sensational headlines!

    • Wayne Wasion

      January 13, 2024 at 10:32 am

I was thinking the same thing. We’re critical of the media on the left for their hyperbole and sensationalizing, but headlines like this are just as guilty. Click-bait from the right should not be a thing.

Jimmy Fallon is by far the most talented of the late night hosts. He can do everything. If he can do it while drinking – even more impressive. Leave him along.

This cancel culture crraapp needs to ride into the sunset and die in the desert. So what? He angered/belittled/infuriated his employees. BFD. They aren’t wedded to him, nor to the show, they can always go find other jobs, just like real Americans do. The only reason to cancel a show or a host is poor ratings. Rather like happened to that guy from South Africa who wasn’t any good. People work for big corporations, and small for that matter all over the world. The employment situation isn’t always great. So, go find something else to do.

Cancel culture needs to be cancelled.

I have watched several shows. Most of my life I’ve worked in customer relations and this is a man who picked the wrong job. He’s a liberal with one thing in his head and that is to promote the Democratic Party. I quit watching when he put Jane Fonda on there, Hanoi, Jane. But he can’t make people laugh, and you don’t treat your fellow workers like crap. You treat people the way you want to be treated. He acts like that privileged guest that he has that think they can treat people the way they want. He needs to find a desk job where he does not have to deal with the public. You only put your company and your bosses in a bad light when you can’t treat underlings with respect I let everyone know that he is self-centered and like I said in the wrong job. He would not know what to say to a Christian or a right wing celebrity because it’s not the way he thinks. Johnny Carson would still be on his that were possible because no one could replace him he had class which is something Fallon does not have.
