January 1, Hunter Biden’s Secret Two-Week White House Stay Following Plea Deal

Published

on

Following a plea deal announced by U.S. Attorney David Weiss, Hunter Biden found solace within the walls of the White House, staying there for two weeks unbeknownst to many staff members.

Weiss, having ascended to the position of special counsel, had unveiled a plea agreement on June 20 that would see Hunter Biden admit guilt to two misdemeanor tax crimes while obtaining pretrial diversion for a graver gun-related felony.

Mere hours after this news broke, Hunter Biden, alongside his wife and young son, took up residence at the White House.

Detailing this unexpected stay, The Washington Post mentioned:

The plea agreement was made public on June 20. One day later, the president and first lady welcomed houseguests from California to the White House: Hunter Biden, along with his wife and young son. They stayed for the next two weeks, according to two people familiar with the arrangement — a visit that included Hunter’s controversial appearance at a state dinner honoring the Indian prime minister, two getaways to the presidential retreat at Camp David and an Independence Day celebration.

Intriguingly, a large number of White House staff remained oblivious to the Bidens’ presence.

During this secretive visit, cocaine was discovered near the White House’s West Executive Entrance, in proximity to the high-security Situation Room.

While the Secret Service launched an investigation, the individual responsible for this security breach remains unidentified.

Exiting the White House on July 5, the Bidens then celebrated Independence Day at the renowned Camp David.

Highlighting the delicacy of Hunter Biden’s situation, CNN outlined how his name has become a “sensitive topic” within the confines of the West Wing.

An insider at CNN remarked, “Hunter Biden is not a topic of discussion in campaign meetings. It’s just not addressed.”

CNN analyst John Avlon weighed in, noting, “I’ve heard reports that [Biden is] very obsessed with the negative coverage of Hunter. He’s concerned about it. It’s an irritant and that’s understandable. But not one that the allies around him are going to want to raise, because it will derail a conversation into some place dark.”

The saga took another twist when a federal judge recently dismissed Hunter Biden’s tax-related misdemeanor charges.

Nonetheless, Weiss remains undeterred and plans to revisit these charges, potentially introducing new ones, in varying jurisdictions.
