January 1, Disgraced Former Priest Pleads Guilty to Obscenity

Published

on

A disgraced former Catholic priest in Louisiana has pleaded guilty to one count of felony obscenity after a witness saw him and two dominatrices having sex on a church’s altar.

Travis Clark, 39, received a three-year suspended sentence. He will have to serve three years of supervised probation and pay a $1,000 fine.

“I plead guilty, your honor,” Clark told 22nd Judicial District Judge Ellen Creel.

Clark was arrested in September 2020 after a passerby noticed that the lights were on inside the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pearl River.

When the passerby looked through a window, he saw a partially-naked Clark having sex with two women who were dressed in corsets. Police responded to the scene, where they seized sex toys, stage lights, a cell phone, and a tripod-mounted camera that had been recording the obscene act.

Police arrested Clark and the two women, Mindy Dixon and Melissa Cheng, who pleaded guilty in July to a misdemeanor charge of institutional vandalism. The women each received a sentence of two years of supervised probation.

The Archdiocese of New Orleans replaced the church’s altar in November 2020.

The Catholic Church is so unjust. Diocesan and ordered priests, monasteries and convents should be allowed sex as it is a natural act. There would be less pedophilia and homosexuality. The Catholic Church is Judeo Christian based and in Judaism celibacy is frowned upon with great disdain. If the church were Sino Christian based it would be understandable to practice celibacy but Western monasticism does not practice monastic arts such as the Eastern Asian monasteries do so they don’t demand or require celibacy. Catholic religious men and women both should be allowed to have sex and children after all they are married to the church! The Catholic Church needs to be brought up to date and be more humane to their religious subjects. I have seen how Catholic sisters pine and sigh for sex and how they drool over the thought of enjoying a male in them. I have no idea where this celibacy rule got into the Catholic Church since there is no asian connection.

There are natural situations and conditions for Natural Acts – a sanctified church or its altar do not belong to this natural list.
As far as the Judaic roots of Christianity go, a Rabbi has to be married, before he can be entrusted with care of a congregation – and this seems indeed a reasonable and cautious rule which was practices in early Christian communities, too. Monastic rules seem to be slightly different in this, depending on their nature and religious practice. We’d have to see, first, that monasteries evolved from single monk hermitages to an early formation of cooperative hermitages – a move that may just have been necessary to keep individual hermits alive, and there can be no doubt that caring women would have cooperated in such groups – although not necessarily in direct cohabitation.
The medieval founders of monastic orders, however, did not approve of any such cohabitation but had, as the celibacy, first only for bishops, then for priests in general – quasi as “Marriage to the Church” – had become commonly accepted, at a earlier time, the same was applied to the monastic “Marriage to the Church” (as a man could not be married to Jesus Christ – which female monastic orders that followed the male ones often do ceremoniously) and the Service to the Lord was considered to take the whole person in possession, thus not allowing distraction by Love for another human being.
It is a person’s complete devotion to the Lord that requires the whole person!

First of all: there is this thing called “commitment” and there is another thing called “sin” and another thing “respect for the church “
Which of those three sentences bother you? Because what this pour soul did was to sin publicly on a sacred ground. He deserves prayers and compassion but his sin does not. He has the choice to leave the priesthood . Many have done that. He has the choice of going to hell to, like everyone else’s he has the choice to follow the doctrine of his faith or not .. that’s his call.
No one can come up to say what the church can do or should do because they are far less qualified than the Priest x . The Holy mother church is Holy but not because of men or women but because Almighty God has deemed necessary to leave His Holy Spirit in some people and Our Lord lives in the Holy Eucharist. We men and women are invited to it
We don’t own it. We don’t call the shots. You want to call the shots ? Make your own and take charge of one church so you can make an opinion then. Your comments are irrelevant and goofy .. sin is sin and it’s the cause of death in men and women. It’s the root of evil in us we chose it we defend it we promote it we are the bastards who abuse our own freedom the Holy Mother Church is perfect as it is
Thank God we are not in charge! Almighty God is and He will do justice on time.
I suggest you guys look at your own lives and straighten those before you ever speak I’ll of Gods home a home of prayer
Thieves ! All of those who go there to do harm are thieves thieves of time of hope of peace … beware of your own sins if you don’t believe in hell you will when you get there but don’t ever ever judge the church again
Judge the sin of men your own first then the others sins but never ever insult the holy mother church

You are a disgrace … could I come over to your place and change your rules ? Can I criticize them? Can I judge the way you behave ? Then shut up.
You have no business talking about holiness and justice in the Catholic Church since you are not part of it.

WHEN GROWN MEN USE CHILDREN TO THEIR WANTS/DESIRES, THEY ARE NO LONGER CONSIDERED AS A PREACHER OF GOD’S WORDS..
THE CATHOLIC CHURCH THINKS THAT ALL CHILDREN THAT DO NOT COME FROM CATHOLICS ARE “FATHERLESS”, AND NOT WORTHY.
HOWEVER, IN ITALY THERE ARE FATHERLESS CHILDREN THAT ARE THE OFFSPRING OF THE VATICAN MEN THAT ARE NOT HOLY….THAT WAS PRINTED IN THE ITALIAN PRESS BECAUSE OF THOSE CHILDREN RUNNING SCARED AND HUNGRY IN THE STREETS OF ITALY……..

Hold on so a Priest can molest little kids and all they do is send them to a different church in a different country or a different state or whatever but if a priest is caught having consensual sex with women they get put on probation and have to pay a fine and The Catholic Church thought it was so disgusting they had to tear out and put in a new altar what about when they’re raping little boys there not changing the church for that or building a new altar they’re trying to pay people off and hide sh*t

      Not quite so, Shaun,
the problem this church has – like all others, no more, no less- is that its position in the communities gave homosexual persons a hiding and hunting place, just as boy scouts, boarding schools, children’s homes, etc. And in many such cases, outside of churches, it was wealthy high ranking sponsors who paid for and covered up their private “pleasures”.
It was, and still is, an area in need of a great clean-up. But think of it, how long it took the proud British radio/tv community BBC to come clear with the dirty pleasures the star of one of their biggest children’s programmes James Saville enjoyed, right under their noses.
So, don’t just pick on one church! Protestant, Evangelical, Mormon, Moslem, Judaic all suffer the same problem! But so do secular organizations: Youth Clubs, Sports Clubs, children’s homes, boy scouts, girls guides, and so on.
And state institutions are not better: youth detention centers, prisons, and so on.
You just fell for one of the anti-Catholic (aka anti-Christianity) propaganda waves. This church was made the scape goat for all, A. to distract from the perpetrators’ connection to LGBTetc, C. because this church was (and still is) the strongest fortress against the general assault on living communities by the Unholy Trinity of Radical Post-“Feminism”, Atheism, and Genderism.

PRIESTS USED TO HAVE CONCUBINES IN 1130…….THEY KNEW THAT MEN WERE BORN WITH WANTS……ITS TOO BAD THAT THE CHURCH IS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO REALIZE THAT ALL MEN, WHETHER PRIEST OR PREACHER NEED THE COMPANIONSHIP OF A FEMALE AT SOME TIME IN THEIR LIVES……..THANK HEAVEN THAT PREACHERS, ETC., ARE SMART ENOUGH TO REALIZE THAT FACT.

AMAZING that a priest who has had sex with two women loses his job when pedophile priests in the Catholic church are just reassigned. What hypocrites the Catholic church is!

AS THE BIBLE STATED………..GOD DEFLOWERED MARY AND PRODUCED JESUS………BUT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH THINKS THAT PRIESTS ARE NOT VIP, AND FORBID ANY FEMALE DEFLOWERING……SO ITS THE VATICAN THAT MAKES RULES, AND THEN BREAKS THOSE RULES AND CALLS IT THEIR SIGN FROM GOD….

The altar is a spiritual place. This is a call for spirituality to
be introduced to cast out Satan and restore holiness.
Come Holy Spirit! Alleluia ! Alleluia! Alleluia!

I have absolutely NO USE for any excuses made for clergy regarding the abuse of children. It is no secret that the American Catholic Church had a “Lavender Lobby” which promoted the institution of homosexual clergy…not good. I would go after the Bishops and Cardinals who”looked the other way” while this homosexual recruitment to the clergy was taking place.
That being said…Episcopal clergy who convert to Catholicism bring their families with them. Roman Catholic clergy should be allowed to marry. Celibacy is a “social custom” and NOT church “dogma”. Celibacy was instituted in the middle ages to keep Church property to be willed to the descendants of the clergy. It was a purely financial move–nothing more. In fact, the Apostles were married, so what’s the big deal?

Here is an article that deserves the light of day:

The rate of incidence for sex crimes is about 1 %.
That is Far less than that of Protestants, Jewish Rabbis, Boy Scout troopmasters or certainly Public School administrators. The leader in sex crimes against children is usually inter family related ie Step Fathers, Friends, uncles etc.
Jews made a crisis, than brought suit against the centralized Catholic Church and in so doing, forever tarnished the clergy who was their archnemesis. Jewish hatred of the Catholic Church exists to this very day.

    Pedophilia Only a Catholic Sin?

    Pedophilia Only a Catholic Sin?

It turns out pedophilia is an incorrect term, and Catholics aren’t responsible for most of it.

Shockingly, AP breaks out of their typical liberal mold and reports Insurance companies shed light on extent of sex abuse in Protestant churches, that sexual abuse of minors has been rampant. But in their statement, they indirectly say members of the Catholic Church are not the majority abusers.

AP discusses the raw numbers from three companies that insure the majority of protestant churches in America (Church Mutual, Guide One, and Brotherhood Mutual), and typically receive 260 reports/yr of people under 18 being sexually abused. Compare that with ~228 credible accusations/yr against Catholic clerics since 1950 (documented abuse records).

Together with that information, it is known that the Catholic Church greatly outnumbers any specific Protestant denomination, and the data for Protestant churches is available only for the last seven years. Ever since the first sexual abuse cases had been reported, Catholics have had requirements: 1) police background check done on all volunteers including priests, 2) a second person be present at all religious functions, and 3) all personnel involved with minors must take routine checks with “Protecting God’s Children”.

Without a doubt, sexual abuse of a minor is one of the most despicable crimes and sins that man can perpetrate. But predators seem to thrive in an atmosphere where the base congregation is one of the most trusted organizations that exist.

Philip Jenkins, in his 1996 book Pedophiles and Priests, [[link edited for length]], looked at the problem objectively and dispassionately. Jenkins (who is not Catholic) found that true pedophilia is extremely rare, and perhaps more common among Protestant clergy, and is even more common among married laymen.

He found that in most sexual abuse cases (under the age of consent), the behavior is actually a variety of homosexuality. This sexual attraction with very young men that combine the charm of boyishness with sexual maturity is actually called ephebophilia. Pedophilia is really a psychiatric term meaning sexual interest in children below the age of puberty.

The worst sex crimes against children is in the Jewish communities and protestant churches
Tomasi was not reserved with criticism either and citing data published by the daily Christian Science Monitor, which was founded a hundred years ago by the Christian Science Church, said that the Catholic Church cleaned its house, Jutarnji List writes.
According to their figures the majority of the US child abuse cases happens in the Protestant churches and Jewish communities, says Tomasi.

MORE PROTESTANT MINISTERS GUILTY OF PEDOPHILIA THAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS, NEW RESEARCH REVEALS

A Penn State historian, Philip Jenkins, has done an in depth research of pedophilia and sexual abuse among the clergy and has come up with some rather eye opening facts. It seems that while 1.7 percent of Catholic clergy have been guilty of pedophilia (or sexual abuse particularly of boys), a whopping TEN percent of Protestant ministers have been found guilty of pedophilia!

This is all the more interesting, notes Jenkins, since there has been NO media term Pastor Pedophilia coined at all!

Jenkins theorizes that the media, proving the point of the necessity of sexual promiscuity, overemphasizes any instance of pedophilia found among the Catholic clergy since it can use this to criticize the entire idea of celibacy. But it is interesting that the NON Celibate Protestant ministers have a MUCH GREATER problem with it than the celibate Catholic priests!

Protestant pastor pedophilia is not within the frame of our social constructionists as Jenkins calls the media:

In the 1980s, [Pastor] Leyva had abused perhaps one hundred boys in several Southern states, but few of us ever learned of it. Leyva had the distinction of being a Pentecostal minister and was, therefore, not within the frame of those who were busy constructing reality. The same is true of the three brothers, all Baptist ministers, who were charged with child molestation in the 1990s; the public learned little about this highly unusual series of cases because it was not deemed worthy of dissemination by those fixated on Catholic scandals.
