January 1, Report: Biden Admin Plans to Sell Armed Drones to Ukraine
Reuters published a new report saying that the Biden administration is getting ready to sell Ukraine armed drones capable of being armed with Hellfire missiles.
Sources familiar with the situation said the U.S. plans to sell Ukraine four MQ-1C Gray Eagle drones manufactured by General Atomics.
A U.S. official told the outlet that the administration plans to inform Congress about the sale within the coming days, with a public announcement to follow.
When asked for comment, a White House spokesperson referred questions to the Pentagon, and a Pentagon spokesperson said there was “nothing to announce.”
