January 1, Have You Seen This Man? It’s Been 100 Days Since Biden’s Last Interview

It’s been more than 100 days since President Joe Biden gave a sit-down interview with the media, which critics say contradicts his vow to carry out a transparent administration.

“One hundred days without a press interview underscores how little Biden cares to answer for struggling Americans seeking solutions to the crises he created,” said Emma Vaughn, a spokesperson for the Republican National Committee.

“This milestone is yet another pitiful mark on Biden’s long list of failures.”

Biden’s last sit-down interview was on Feb. 10 with NBC’s Lester Holt, his twenty-third interview since taking office. At this point in former President Donald Trump’s administration, he had conducted 95 such interviews, while former President Barack Obama had completed 187.

“It would be an advantage for the president to do more interviews,” Democratic strategist Brad Bannon said.

“He needs to get his message out, and if it was up to me, I’d encourage him to do more. I think it’s pretty clear the administration needs to do a better job getting his message across to the public.”
