January 1, Man Sets Himself Ablaze Outside Supreme Court
A climate activist has died after setting himself ablaze in front of the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.
Wynn Bruce, 50, lit himself on fire in front of the Supreme Court building on Earth Day. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital with critical burns and died the following day.
Bruce, a Buddhist from Boulder, Colorado, left a cryptic comment on Facebook in 2020 that included a fire emoji and the date 4/22/2022 — the date of the incident.
Dr. K. Kritee, a Buddhist priest from Boulder, called his death “an act of compassion.”
“This guy was my friend. He meditated with our sangha [Buddhist community],” Kritee wrote on Twitter. “This act is not a suicide. This is a deeply fearless act of compassion to bring attention to climate crisis. We are piecing together info but he had been planning it for at least one year.”
However, Supreme Court Police reportedly said that they were still investigating Bruce’s motive.
No one else was injured in the incident.

So sorry this individual felt no need to continue living and thought he could influence others…
He sets himself ablaze due to concern for the planet and the environment; which he obviously FORGOT all about by setting himself on fire creating lots of smoke, which helps to further erode the ozone level…
Is this the new plan of these “Environmentalists” – to SHOCK US ALL into surrendering to their beliefs?
“Mentalists”- the MOST important part of that word.
He ADVERTISED that he was going to do this for the last TWO FULL YEARS…yet NOBODY stepped up to STOP him..?
To talk to him?
To HELP him?
That’s doesn’t sound very influential.
