January 1, Sex, Drugs… Politics? Cawthorn Describes ‘Perversion’ on Capitol Hill

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1867: Alaska Purchase – US buys Alaska from Russia for $7,200,000 ($109 million in 2018), roughly 2 cents an acre.

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) made eyebrow-raising claims during a recent interview, saying that fellow Congressmembers have invited him to an orgy and done cocaine in front of him.

John Lovell, the host of the Warrior Poet Society podcast, asked the 26-year-old lawmaker if the show House of Cards was a “fictitious show” or if it was “closer to like a documentary.”

“I heard a former president that we had in the ’90s was asked a question about this, and he gave an answer that I thought was so true. He said, ‘The only thing that isn’t accurate about that show is that you could never get a piece of legislation about education passed that quickly,'” Cawthorn said.

“The sexual perversion that goes on in Washington — I mean, being kind of a young guy in Washington, where the average age is probably 60 or 70,” he continued.

“I look at all these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life — I’ve always paid attention to politics. Then all of the sudden you get invited to, ‘Well hey, we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come.’ And I’m like, ‘What did you just ask me to come to?’

“And then you realize they’re asking you to come to an orgy,” Cawthorn said.

The freshman lawmaker went on to tell Lovell that “some of the people that are leading” anti-addiction efforts have done cocaine in front of him.

“Or the fact that, you know, some of the people that are leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country and then you watch them do, you know, a key bump of cocaine right in front of you and it’s like, wow, this is wild,” Cawthorn said.

Politico reported that the House Republican Conference had a closed-door meeting on Tuesday, wherein lawmakers aired their grievances about Cawthorn’s claims, “portraying his own colleagues as bacchanalian and sexual deviants.”

Arkansas Rep. Steve Womack (R) addressed his colleagues, saying he rarely speaks up during their weekly closed-door meetings but felt compelled to say something because he’s now getting questions about who partakes in sex parties and drugs, according to the outlet.

Other Republicans have expressed desire for Cawthorn to identify the lawmakers involved in his claims.

I believe Cawthorn, why would he lie about it? The status quo of congress has a dismal rating with the people they govern and supposedly represent. More than likely they are addled to a point of instability mentally.

Our representatives are just that – representatives. We elected them, and they are a cross-section of who we are. I find it ironic that there would be complaints about ‘sexual deviancy’ considering how much effort has gone into mainstreaming and normalizing sexual deviancy. Homosexuality anyone? Gay rights? Rainbow coalition? Same-sex marriage? Child sexuality? Trans movement? Has anyone looked at American popular culture lately, or listened to the lyrics of popular ‘music’?

America has become profoundly sick to its soul, a result of driving religion from the public square and replacing it with secularism.

Damn them. Something like this could lose the election for us if the degenerates turn out to be Republicans.

How very sad. I sincerely hope that the freshman congressman misunderstood things. Surely he did! If not, how could people that bad be elected?? It is sickening to think about.

I totally agree with Michael…Sex, Lies and Videotape that’s the best the “Swamp” and Congress has to offer…except maybe adding a little socialism and corruption to the mix….may God please help this Country!
