January 1, Arnold Schwarzenegger Tells Russians the ‘Truth’ About Ukraine [Video]
Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a heartfelt nine-minute video message directed to the people of Russia, telling them “the truth” about the Ukraine invasion.
“I’m speaking to you today because there are things that are being kept from you,” said Schwarzenegger, a legendary bodybuilder, movie star, and former California governor. “Terrible things that you should know about.”
The seven-time Mr. Olympia praised those protesting against Russian President Vladimir Putin in the streets at great personal risk.
He said that while attending the 1961 World Weightlifting Championships at age 14, he became awestruck by Yury Petrovich Vlasov, and that the strength of the Russian people continues to inspire him to this day.
“The world has seen your bravery. We know that you have suffered the consequences of your courage. You have been arrested, you have been jailed, and you have been beaten. You are my new heroes,” Schwarzenegger said.
The Terminator star addressed the Russian people, saying that Putin is hiding the truth from them.
“No one likes to hear something critical of their government. I understand that,” Schwarzenegger said. “But, as a longtime friend of the Russian people, I hope that you will hear what I have to say.”
“I know that your government has told you that this is a war to de-Nazify Ukraine. De-Nazify Ukraine? This is not true,” he said, adding that Ukraine has a Jewish president whose family suffered tremendous loss at the hands of the Nazis.
“You see, Ukraine did not start this war. Neither did nationalists or Nazis,” the former governor said. “Those in power in the Kremlin started this war. This is not the Russian people’s war.”
The world largely unified against Russia, identifying the country as the aggressor and condemning its bombings of children’s and maternity hospitals.
“To President Putin, I say: You started this war,” Schwarzenegger said. “You are leading this war. You can stop this war.”

The entire world is watching LIVE reporting and the horrific acts of war seen in living color do not need any words from reporters to know that what’s happening is very wrong
People should be willing to negotiate and talk -how does destroying property a d killing children and pregnant women ( can see live in person ) plus hear from Ukrainian friends in our dog communities of the bombings and killing going on – people we personally know – not some TV reporter putting his spin on it to match his political view.
