January 1, Anonymous Accuses Congresswoman of Being ‘Russian Asset’

The hacking collective known as Anonymous accused Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) of being a “Russian asset,” adding that “history will not be kind” to the lawmaker.

“Russian asset Marjorie Taylor Greene will go down in history as one of the dumbest politicians ever. History will not be kind to you, nor will we,” the hacktivist group wrote from the Twitter account @YourAnonNews, boasting nearly 8 million followers.

The remarks came in response to Greene’s tweet, in which she admonished Bill Kristol, editor of The Bulwark, who accused her of recommending “betting against America.”

Anonymous has claimed responsibility for disabling Russian websites, broadcasting video footage of the Ukraine invasion on Russian state TV, and releasing 360,000 files from a Russian censorship agency.
